TIMES BONTANG, BATU – There is a thick traditional atmosphere at the Festival Kampung Ublik of Pujon Kidul. This festival which was intended to remind all the people to the traditional time of was decorated with hundreds of lantern which you could find in almost every corner of the area.

Not only the lantern, this festival also boasts the Javanese traditional food, cake, and snacks. You could even found the traditional sweet and cotton candy on this place.

Not only about the decoration, the event which took place along the main road of Pujon Kidul, Batu, east Java also designs every both on the event becomes more interesting. It was designed as if it was in the ancient time with bamboo wall and rice straws as the roof.

The Festival Kampung Ublik of Pujon Kidul got a positive welcome from the local community even some people from outside of the area. They hope that this kind of festival will be held annually to preserve the local wisdom. (*)
